Harold Luce and Adam Boyce - "Fisher's Hornpipe"
Harold Luce of Chelsea, VT learned to play fiddle as a boy in the 1930s and performed as a member of the Ed Larkin Contra Dancers from 1933 up until his death in 2014. Adam Boyce, who here accompanies Harold on piano, was for Harold's student and close friend. "Fisher's Hornpipe" is a staple of the Yankee old time fiddle repertoire, and this recording was made in 2007 by Andy Kolovos in an effort to document Luce's repertoire for the VFC Archive.
